Use objects and colors to balance each sector. Strengthen auspicious stars with items of the same element or the element that supports them. Weaken inauspicious stars with objects from the element they produce (to drain them). For example, Star 5 (Earth, inauspicious) can be weakened with Metal items, while Star 9 (Fire, auspicious in Period 9) can be enhanced with red lighting or décor. For harmful sectors, keep the area calm and still – avoid fans, ticking clocks, loud devices, or moving objects there.

Do not sit for long with your back to this direction, although facing toward it is fine. Keep the area clean, quiet, and stable, and make as few changes there as possible during the year.

Jupiter General marks a yearly sensitive direction that should be respected, not disturbed. That sector is seen as easily offended, so big changes there can bring obstacles, pressure, or instability during the year. Avoid major renovations, digging, or sitting for long while directly facing against it; having Jupiter General behind you is usually more supportive. Keep this area calm and steady, without constant vibration, loud noise, or strong activation.
