Choosing a luck booster

Are the luck boosters free?

Yes — the Zodiac Year Forecast, Flying Star Feng Shui, Natal Feng Shui and browsing the Luck Treasury are all free. Only a few in-depth Luck Treasury articles unlock with coins.

What is the difference between Flying Star and Natal Feng Shui?

Flying Star is the moving layer: every year a different star flies into each sector of your home, so wealth, romance and trouble corners change annually. Natal (Ba Zhai) Feng Shui is the fixed layer: your birth date sets your life trigram and four auspicious and four inauspicious directions that never change. Use Natal Feng Shui to choose your house, bed and desk direction once; use Flying Star to adjust each year.

Which one should I start with?

Start with Natal Feng Shui, because it never changes and settles your permanent directions. Then read the Flying Star chart for the current year to adjust room by room, and check your Zodiac Year Forecast for the year’s overall theme and timing.

Do I need my birth time for these?

Natal Feng Shui needs only your birth date and gender. The Zodiac Year Forecast needs only your birth year. Flying Star needs your home’s facing direction rather than any birth data.

How is the Zodiac Year Forecast different from a personal chart reading?

A zodiac year forecast is shared by everyone born under the same animal sign — it reads the year itself against that sign. A personal chart reading (BaZi or Zi Wei) uses your exact birth details and is unique to you, so it is far more specific. Use the zodiac forecast for the year’s broad weather and remedies, and your own chart for personal timing.

Do luck methods actually work?

Treat them as structured self-direction rather than guarantees. The value is in acting on the right timing, direction and priorities instead of drifting — and we explain what each method is meant to do and how to apply it.
