Bing over Wu (Bing Jia Wu, 丙加戊) is a positive formation where resources and opportunities naturally gravitate toward the individual without active pursuit.
Overview
Bing over Wu (Bing Jia Wu, 丙加戊) is known in the tradition as the Flying Bird Falls into the Cave (Fei Niao Die Xue, 飛鳥跌穴). This formation signifies a period where life seems to provide gains effortlessly, as if the path of least resistance is also the path to success. Within the life simulation, it acts as a magnetic pull that brings valuable connections or financial windfalls directly to your doorstep.
The essence of this pattern is not about manual effort or aggressive expansion, but rather about positioning. Like a bird returning to its nest, the energy of this combination rewards those who have established a strong personal foundation. When this configuration appears, it is an invitation to remain receptive and observant, allowing high-quality prospects to emerge rather than exhausting yourself by chasing them.

In different situations
Career and Wealth
When occurring in a favorable palace, this indicates that your reputation can be easily converted into capital, making it an ideal time for high-level negotiations or personal branding.
Natal Chart Presence
In a natal chart, it suggests a personality that excels at attracting opportunities, requiring you to carefully select which 'nests' or platforms you choose to inhabit.
With Auspicious Doors
If paired with a positive Door, such as the Life Door (Sheng Men, 生門), the prosperity and growth are amplified, leading to significant, stable expansion.
In everyday life
In the context of the life simulation, this pattern functions as a localized cheat code for momentum. It implies that your previous actions have created an 'attractor' in your code, which now pulls desirable outcomes toward you. The challenge is to maintain your clarity of purpose so that you do not become overwhelmed by the sheer volume of unsolicited opportunities.
Tip
Maintain an open door policy, but be highly selective about which opportunities you integrate into your long-term plan.
