Stem Combinations · Inauspicious pattern
Bing over Geng (Bing Jia Geng, 丙加庚) is a volatile configuration representing intense internal conflict and structural disruption within the life simulation.
Overview
Bing over Geng (Bing Jia Geng, 丙加庚), known traditionally as the Pattern of Fire Entering Metal (Ying Ru Tai Bai, 熒入太白), signifies a period where internal defenses are compromised. In the context of your life simulation, this typically manifests as sudden disharmony, internal power struggles, or unexpected circumstances that require resources to resolve. The combination of Fire and Metal indicates an abrasive reaction, much like a clashing of elements that causes damage to the environment.
Because this is often viewed as a gate being breached, it suggests that the stability of your current position or team is under pressure. Rather than resisting the flow of these events, it is often more prudent to prioritize damage control. Acknowledging that resources might need to be spent to restore order is part of managing the system’s underlying code effectively.

In different situations
Internal Team Dynamics
When appearing in personnel management, this suggests hidden friction or open rivalry that requires immediate, transparent intervention.
Financial Planning
Indicates a high probability of unforced expenses; the best path is often to settle debts or 'pay to make problems disappear' before they escalate.
Natal Chart
Represents an individual who thrives in disruption and possesses the innate skill to reshape rules, provided they master the art of risk management.
In everyday life
Navigating this pattern requires adopting a strategy of calculated withdrawal and strategic spending. In the life simulation, not every obstacle is meant to be conquered head-on; sometimes, using your resources to neutralize a threat is the highest form of tactical intelligence. Learn to recognize when the system is triggering a 'fire' and prioritize protecting your core assets over winning a temporary ego battle.
Tip
When you encounter this pattern, prioritize resolving internal disputes through decisive action rather than letting them drain your long-term energy.
