Star 9, the Purple Prosperity Star (Jiu Zi You Bi, 九紫右弼), is the Fire star of celebration, fame and future wealth, and the ruling star of the current era in Flying Star Feng Shui (Xuan Kong Fei Xing, 玄空飛星).
Overview
Star 9 is the star of joy and visibility. It is linked to weddings, births, promotions, public recognition and anything that shines. Where it lands, the mood lifts and good news tends to arrive.
Since 2024 the world has entered Period 9 (2024 to 2043), so Star 9 is now the timely, most powerful auspicious star. It also amplifies whatever it sits with, so it boosts good stars and can intensify bad ones. In the life simulation, it is the era’s main buff: fame, energy and momentum.

Good for romance and family happiness; keep lighting soft for restful sleep.

Handle with care: add Metal to calm the bad star rather than more Fire.
